About the Journal
D-Journal of Socioecological and Humanitarian Expansion (JSHE) is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the systematic study of the relationships between social processes, ecological systems, and human conditions. JSHE recognizes socioecological and humanitarian phenomena as interconnected processes that extend across disciplinary, geographical, and institutional boundaries. Accordingly, the journal welcomes scholarly contributions that examine the interactions between human activities and ecological systems, the institutional and economic structures that influence these interactions, and the implications for communities, livelihoods, and human welfare.
